Today's Favorites - ts(s)

Coming into Spring, it's great how you see the more colorful stuff come out as well as the wearing of different leathers like nubuck and suede. And while every company is going to have their own version of a white nubuck (or suede) brogue, I am quite fond of the model displayed here by ts(s). Knowing that I absolutely love colored soles (when done properly), what you may not know about me is that I also love a bold stitch like the one around the welt. Most stitching is sadly irrelevant and masked over by color dye, but when they leave it nude or give it a contrast color, I find it to be quite a nice additive to the image of the shoe.

While I really like the idea of the white pair, I think if given a choice between the two I would have to go for the brown. My problem is that I hate dirty shoes and being so, it would seriously limit my using the shoes for constant fear of dirtying them. Ans once you dirty a white nubuck (or suede), it is damn hard trying to clean them!

Today's Favorites - Edward Green

Green nubuck is not something that you see often, but is surely appreciated when you do! These two pairs, by Edward Green, are amazing to say the least. And while I am not crazy about the penny loafer I would probably buy and wear it just for the fact that it is green nubuck and you know damn sure that you won't see anyone else on the street with a similar pair. I have to give it to Edward Green, as always, for being innovative yet classic, and forever creating shoes that are fresh and unique. Could you just imagine wearing one of these shoes with a crisp pair of jeans? Picture perfect!!

Shoe Of The Day

This has to be the coolest pair of buck's that I have ever seen. On Leather Soul's website it says that these are chocolate nubuck but they look way more like gray to me (at least in this picture), which is what I love about them. The shoes are by Edward Green and a pair like this would be one of those shoes that you could wear with the majority of things in your wardrobe. It's versatility is undeniable and the cut is right-on, with next to perfect. If only way more brands offered smart shoes like these, we would all be better dressed individuals!!
